World Health Day

"The World Health Day is a global health awareness day celebrated every year on 7 April, under the sponsorship of the World Health Organization (WHO), as well as other related organizations.

In 1948, the WHO hold the First World Health Assembly. The Assembly decided to celebrate 7 April of each year, with effect from 1950, as the World Health Day. The World Health Day is held to mark WHO's founding, and is seen as an opportunity by the organization to draw worldwide attention to a subject of major importance to global health each year.^[1] The WHO organizes international, regional and local events on the Day related to a particular theme. Now, more than ever, it is important to celebrate and remember what so many are doing to help us keep healthy and become healthy should we become ill.  The world is now very ill and we all must do our part by respecting the social distancing orders and helping those who need help during these difficult times.

"Two years ago, on April 6, 2018 Logan, our son and his Humboldt Broncos hockey team were traveling to a playoff game when their bus was in a tragic crash. Our son, Logan was not able to overcome his injuries and passed away a day later. The people I know who walk in the ways of God are savory with the fruit of God's Spirit; they're the kind of people I can't be around enough.  Their kind and gentle ways radiate peace.  Their joy is contagious.  Their faithfulness is inspiring.  So many things about them make me want to be more like them - and more like Christ.
