Today we celebrate the Annunciation of the Lord
This is the day when the angel Gabriel, sent from the presence of God, announces to the young Mary her future role as the mother of the child Jesus.

Walk in Faith - Quote of the Day (Proverbs 30:33)
"Surely the churning of milk bringeth forth butter, and the wringing of the nose bringeth forth blood, so the forcing of wrath bringeth forth strife."
God stretches our heart's capacity when he tells us to love our enemies. Loving them proves that we belong to God, for he loves everyone, no matter what they have done. We do not naturally love like God does, but we can desire to grow in demonstrating His love to others. Our Christian fervor can be measured by our desire to grow in love, in spite of the struggles we will undoubtedly encounter.
