Electrifying Thursday - Mar. 5, 2020

This week we started Electricity and Magnetism with the Grade 5s and thanks to some of the resources we sometimes have available to us, I was able to have a Van de Graaff Generator in the classroom.  Since this is such a rare occasion, I decided to do the demo to all of the students.  I think the experience has been "electrifying" :).

 With this activity, short fine hair worked the best.  As such, not everyone could give this one a try, but it was fun nonetheless to shake hands with those who tried it :).
